Hello! We’ll be joining the lovely Denzil Watson on his Indie Hour on Tuesday 31st Jan from 9pm. We’ll be chatting and playing some choice cuts. Tune in in the Sheffield area on 93.2 FM or listen online at http://www.sheffieldlive.org/
We are pleased to announce that we now have CD copies of the album for sale. You can order directly from the website, or if you know us and are going to bump into us soon – give us a shout. CDs are priced at the very reasonable £5 each + £1 postage and packaging. For that you get – a shiny CD, fold out Eco Kraft card CD case and 6 (count em) double sided, lovingly illustrated lyric sheets on quality Eco Kraft stock. Look how lovely they are:
Pisco Sour Hour featuring the awesome Dave Woodcock on vocals. Dave co-write the song. It appears on our recent album – “A Hammer to the Camera Lens”, currently available on iTunes and in a physical format very soon.
We’re very pleased to announce that you can now buy our new album, A Hammer to the Camera Lens right now from iTunes. To be honest we were taken by surprise as we were told the process would take at least a month, when it actually took two days. This is why you will have to wait a several weeks if your preferred format is CD (of which there will be limited numbers, and might actually be a couple of quid cheaper, depending on how many we make). However, if it is MP3 goodness you are after, then fill your boots.
After you’ve downloaded the album, and we recommend you do as its the best thing we’ve ever done, why not go here, where you can view the album lyric sheets and inserts.
The album is mixed, mastered and a release date will be divulged soon. We’re extremely pleased with it, but will attempt to keep our self congratulatory back slapping to a minimum. It will be available through both digital and physical channels. A sample track, ‘Spot Monkey’, is available at the bottom of this post.
In the meantime, we are working up another four songs for an EP, plus another set of songs for the next album. We’ll be building on some of the directions revealed recently, but will be taking many detours.
We hope to start playing live again in the new year, once Mary Pisco is back from her adventures in Costa Rica (mainly involving drinking large amount of Rum Punch).
More Pisco-Info soon. Keep your eyes peeled, your ears to the ground and your fingers on the pulse. Or something along those lines.
